The 25-for-25 Challenge will end on June 30, 2027 at the conclusion of our 25th anniversary season.

An increased gift is a gift from a current donor that exceeds their total giving during the previous fiscal year. For example, if you donated $500 last season and give $750 this season, the $250 increase qualifies for the match—unlocking an additional $250 for Tempesta.

Monthly gifts are counted as each payment is received. Only payments completed by June 30, 2027, can qualify for the challenge; future scheduled payments and pledges are not eligible.

For current donors, monthly payments are combined with any other gifts made during the season. The amount by which the completed total exceeds the donor’s giving during the previous fiscal year qualifies for the match.

All completed gifts received from the same donor, couple, or family during the campaign period are combined. For current donors, we compare that cumulative total with their total giving during the previous fiscal year. Once their current-year giving exceeds the previous year’s total, the amount of the increase qualifies for the match.

For new and returning donors, completed gifts received during the challenge period qualify, subject to the $2,500 maximum match per donor, couple, or family.

Completed gifts received through a donor-advised fund or a gift of stock may qualify if they meet the challenge requirements and are received by June 30, 2027. Donors considering these methods should contact Tempesta in advance so that we can provide instructions and properly identify and acknowledge the gift.

The 25-for-25 Challenge is intended to support Tempesta’s Annual Fund. Donors interested in making a restricted gift should contact us to determine whether it qualifies for the challenge.

Contributions to Tempesta di Mare are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. Donors should consult their tax advisers regarding their individual circumstances.

Please contact Tempesta di Mare at info@tempestadimare.org with questions about the challenge, gift eligibility, or alternative ways to give.
