On Tour: Washington DC

The orchestra travels to Washington D.C. for a performance in association with Folger Consort of the Folger Shakespeare Library, before we perform the same program in Philadelphia at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.

Fire & Invention

Two stunning, pull-out-all-the-stops concertos for orchestra and the modern premiere of a set of new-found Entr’actes by Telemann, all written for the finest band of his day, the Dresden Hofkapelle, and collected by its concertmaster, Telemann’s close friend and virtuoso violinist, Johann Georg Pisendel. Our unconducted orchestra will perform with its largest ensemble to date, 30 musicians — huge, in baroque terms.
