ZIMMERMAN ARTISTIC OPPORTUNITY FUND
CD Recording: Janitsch: rediscoveries from the Sara Levy collection. Four flute quartets and the Overture Grosso for double orchestra by Johann Gottlieb Janitsch (1708-1763) from the famed Berlin Sing-Academy collection by Jewish patroness Sara Levy, that was taken by the Red Army as spoils of war at the end of World War II and believed lost, until its rediscovery and repatriation to Berlin in 2001. CD Release date: early Spring 2018.
