Juan Gallastegui is an arts administrator, educator, and musician with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and orchestral management. As Managing Director of Tempesta di Mare, he oversees organizational strategy, operations, fundraising, marketing, and institutional growth. Prior to joining Tempesta, he held leadership positions with the Bremerton WestSound Symphony and the Rogue Valley Symphony, helping arts organizations strengthen operations, expand community engagement, and advance their artistic missions.
Originally from Spain, Gallastegui holds advanced degrees in music history, conducting, and education, and has participated in the League of American Orchestras’ Essentials of Orchestra Management program. He is passionate about connecting artists, audiences, and communities through innovative and sustainable arts leadership.
